Pvp /PvE Setups Empty Pvp /PvE Setups

This setup is for an escort or a Bird Of Prey (BoP's)
My character Kisak's setup is this a BoP
Fore weapons
Dual Heavy Cannons X3
Dual Beam bank X1
Aft
One Torpedo (any torp really don't matter)
Turret X1 (if 3 back slots put another turret)
Skills too make this setup work
Cannon-Rapid Fire 1
Beam array-Overload1
Attack pattern Alpha,Omgea
Emergency power too Weapons would make up for the weapons battery but use it after Overload it does drian alot of power.
A weapons battery won't hurt use it after the Overload fire too keep up weapon power


Enjoy one shotting most PvE and some PvP I enjoy it Smile


For an escort or Raptor

Fore weapons
Dual Heavy Cannon X3
Dual Beam Bank X1
Aft weapons
Torpedo (any type)
Turret X2
The same Bridge officer abilities apply as the BoP setup

Yes I have a setup for almost every ship in STO that will work or do enough damage too weaken a target by a huge margin.



If there are any ship biulds that anyone may need help with just ask me (In-game) or here on the fourms

Note: I do not check the fourms everyday thats kind of a habit I have.

Bortasqu' Curiser (command,tactical,and war)

This ship is a bit slow on turning so attacking broadside would work best.
Fore weapons X3 Beam arrays
X1 Torpedo launcher (torpedo type Doesn't matter)
Aft weapons
X3 Beam Arrays
X1 Torpedo


Abilities that may be useful for this build

Beam: Fire At Will or Beam:Overload

Torpedo:Spread or High Yield

(Note These are only tactical abilities to use with the beams ans torpedo's.)

Now here are some Consoles that would make the Bortasqu' a very formatible opponent in PvP and PvE (I have tested this build time and time again)

Engineering- Neutronium Alloy X4
Science-Shield Emitter Amplifier X2
Tactical-Whatever weapon type you use.

Pvp /PvE Setups Empty Setup's Carrier Builds

Ok the first thing about the carrier is the ability too launch 12 fighters or 4 frigates
These are what does most of a carrier's damage The first build is the Kar'Fi Battle carrier (KDF)

This Carrier turns alot faster then other carriers but the federation heavy escort carrier is just the same.

Fore Weapons
Dual Heavy cannons X1
Dual Cannons X2
Torpedo X1
Aft Weapons
Turrets X2
Torpedo X1

Abilities that would be useful for this build

Cannon:Rapid Fire 1-3
Torpedo:Spread 1-3 or High Yield 1-3

Vo'Quv Carrier

Fore Weapons

Beam arrays X2
Torpedo X1
Or just choose too run all beams or this carrier.
Aft Weapons Same as the fore just choose too use the torpedo's or not

Abilities that are useful for this build Beam Array: Fire At Will
Beam Array:Overload
(If you choose too use the torpedo's)
Torpedo:Spread or Torpedo:High Yield

I hope these will help you with the carrier and how too get the best out of these tanks

For those in escorts in PVP, I would suggest throwing a tractor beam onto your ship, along with an RCS module. Because standard escort tactics revolve around hitting them with your cannons, the extra turn rate and ability to hold the enemy in one place can give you the edge.

If you have the Armitage escort, just get advanced Danubes and go with transfer shield strength or hazard emitters instead.

Yep the tractor beam is very useful I personally use it on my character Kisak.
